Omar Hamada

Omar is a 14-year veteran of the U.S. Army, 10 years of which were spent in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Airborne). He is a qualified paratrooper, scuba diver, U.S. Navy surface-supplied (hard hat) diver, combat medic, flight surgeon and diving medical officer. He is also a decorated recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.

Omar also has an extensive list of credentials in the medical field. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Union University and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the International College of Surgeons and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Omar is also an active member several professional organizations, including International College of Surgeons, the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States and the Wilderness Medical Society.

Adding to this already impressive résumé, Omar is a classically trained spinto tenor, classical and jazz trumpeter, ordained minister, author and instructor of Tae Kwon Do, Judo and Hapkido.
