9/11: America’s Biggest Cover-Up?

--“When it comes to beheadings,” Zaki Ghawwass pointed out in Newsweek all the way back in 2014, “ISIS has nothing on Saudi Arabia.”

And guess what? This statement is as true today as it was two years ago. Even more so, in fact.

Last year, in 2015, the regime conducted over 150 reported State executions, the most the country had seen in 20 years. These executions, mind you, were mostly done in a public square and with a sword.

But get this…

The busybody regime, as it stands, is on track to beat out last year’s high-flyer year, too. Early last month, upon last check, the Saudi regime had already hit 70. And with three months to go ‘til halftime.

Just another day at the office…

George Bush

“Oh, I tell you what… this is going to look so good in my living room. Laura is just going to love it. How many heads did you say again?”

The Saudi Regime is, of course, doing what all totalitarian States do. It’s targeting dissent, mostly human rights advocates, and snuffing them out to set a maimed example.

Except, there’s trouble in paradise. More and more people are speaking out than ever. And though the House of Saud can’t cut every activist’s head off, the hell if they won’t try.

“Executions,” Ghawwass writes, “usually take place in the morning, before the oppressive heat of the desert kingdom takes hold, in a public square. Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea and Somalia are the only countries in the world that still execute people in public.

“People will gather to watch you die. According to British author John R. Bradley, public beheadings are the ‘only form of public entertainment’ in Saudi Arabia, aside from football matches.

“You will be led to the center of the square, on the bare earth. According to one of Saudi Arabia’s state executioners, Mohammed Saad al-Beshi, who was interviewed in the Saudi newspaper Arab News in June 2003, your energy is likely to fade at this point, from sheer exhaustion and fear. You will not fight for your life, nor protest against your restraints.”

Then, if you’re lucky, the executioner, who is forbidden to speak to you, will slice your head off in one swing. Again, if you’re lucky.

And, for some strange reason, it has never occurred to the White House that maybe Saudi Arabia needed a little “democracy” in the mix, too.

You know, Saudi Arabia is a usual suspect: It’s a run-of-the-mill warmongering, human rights violator. The type that, in any other region, would likely set the Great Shiny Bald Eagle to fight freedom-inducing wars in vast gushing deserts and plentiful poppy fields.

--And all of this combined, of course, makes the classified 28 pages from the 9/11 investigation seem all the more curious.

If you’re not caught up with the 28-page controversy, here are quotes (courtesy of 28pages.org), from those who have read the “missing” pages…

Rep. Walter Jones: “I was absolutely shocked by what I read. What was so surprising was that those whom we thought we could trust really disappointed me… It does not deal with national security per se; it is more about relationships. The information is critical to our foreign policy moving forward and should thus be available to the American people.” Source

“It was 28 pages and it probably took me a good hour and a half because I would have to re-read certain parts of it that I just couldn’t believe what I was reading.” Source

Rep. Thomas Massie: “I went into the soundproof, secret room here in Congress and read those 28 pages. And it was a really disturbing event for me to read those. I had to stop every two or three pages and rearrange my perception of history. And it’s that fundamental — those 28 pages… It certainly changes your view of the Middle East… We need to declassify those 28 pages… There is nothing in there that would affect our national security. Some of it may be embarrassing; that is why I believe those 28 pages have been withheld… the American people deserve to know what happened and what led up to 9/11 so that we can prevent the next one.” Source

Rep. Stephen Lynch: “It gave names of individuals and entities that I believe were complicit in the attacks on September 11. They were facilitators of those attacks. They are clearly identified…how people were financed, where they were housed, where the money was coming from, the conduits that were used and the connections between some of these individuals.” Source

“Twelve years after the horrific September 11 attacks, unanswered questions still remain. These pages contain information that is vital to a full understanding of the events and circumstances surrounding this tragedy. The families of the victims and the American people deserve better; they deserve answers, they deserve a full accounting, and that has not happened yet.” Source

Sen. Bob Graham, co-chair of the Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11: “I was stunned that the intelligence community would feel that it was a threat to national security for the American people to know who had made 9/11 financially possible.” Source

“The 28 pages primarily relate to who financed 9/11 and they point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as being the principal financier.” Source

Rep. Rick Nolan: “The information presents a clear and startling picture of who financed the attacks.” “They confirm that much of the rhetoric preceding the U.S. attack on Iraq was terribly wrong.” Source

“The account in those 28 pages is pretty detailed; who supplied them money, what those accounts were, what the amounts of that money were, who the recipients were.” Source

Former Sen. Byron Dorgan: “I am absolutely convinced that the American people deserve and need to see what’s in those pages, because only then will they fully understand that they can connect the dots to the financing and other things. It’s just sad to me that’s been labeled ‘top secret.’” Source

Eleanor Hill, staff director of the joint congressional inquiry: “I can’t tell you what’s in those 28 pages. I can tell you that the chapter deals with information that our committee found in the CIA and FBI files that was very disturbing. It had to do with sources of foreign support for the hijackers.” Source: The Eleventh Day: The Full Story of 9/11, by Anthony Summers & Robbyn Swan.

Curious, indeed.

--To add to all of this, just last week, as you’ve probably heard, Saudi Arabia has threatened to sell off hundreds of billions of dollars of American assets, which, some fear, could tank the economy. (Meh.)

The threat came when Congress passed a bill which allowed the Saudi government to be held responsible for any role it may’ve played in the 9/11 terror attacks.

Yet, of course, much of the Western media, in an attempt to veer the conversation a bit, will have us believe that Saudi officials, in their recent pow-wow with Obama on Saudi’s home turf, snubbed him over his foreign policy in Syria and Iran.

Yeah, right.

The snubbery, we assure you, was preserved for far more pressing matters.

President Barack Obama

You’ve been a bad boy. Why aren’t you droning more hospitals and peace-activists in Damascus like we asked? Forget about Somalia!

As a Washington Times editor puts it, most certainly parroting some government official:

“Saudi Arabian officials delivered a snub to President Obama Wednesday as he arrived in Riyadh to reassure the anxious ally about his nuclear deal with Iran and to seek more cooperation in the fight against Islamist extremists in Syria and Iraq.”

It was only until the second page that the rag’s finest pensmith, almost as an afterthought, included the most important part of the hopelessly boring article.

“The president’s visit also came,” the presstitute squawks, “amid renewed tensions over Saudi Arabia’s possible role in the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Obama, under pressure from 9/11 families to support a bill that would allow them to sue the Saudi government, greeted the king warmly upon his arrival at the ornate Erga Palace, adorned with portraits of Saudi leaders and crystal chandeliers.

“‘The American people send their greetings, and we are very grateful for your hospitality,’ Mr. Obama told the king.”

Psh. Speak for yourself.

Bow down to a bunch of knuckle-draggers who behead peaceful people in the streets like barbarians? Not us.

No thanks.

Excuse our French, but we say this only because we truly mean it: [Expletive deleted] the House of Saud.

The Biggest U.S. Government Cover-Up Ever?

By Michael Covel

U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie calls the revelations “shocking.”

Former U.S. Senator Bob Graham claims there’s been a “cover-up.”

And former FBI agent Mark Rossini says his attempts to investigate were “thwarted” by the White House.

What I’m referring to is one of the most egregious government whitewashes in U.S. history.

And it’s only now being revealed some 13 years later…

28 Pages of Truth

In 2002, the U.S. government released a 9/11 Congressional investigation report.

They told us it would give the American people a full and honest accounting of the cause and perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.

I trusted them.

But when the 9/11 report was released more than 13 years ago, 28 pages of it were redacted.

It seemed we would never know what was in them… or no one cared.

As it turns out, the details of those pages were deliberately withheld from the American people.

The government told us it was for our own good. Our national security was at stake.

But the only thing that was truly in jeopardy was the security and well-being of the immensely powerful shadow entity known as the Deep State…

All Roads Lead to the Kingdom

A recent “60 Minutes” episode revealed what was in those 28 pages.

They contain evidence that the highest levels of the U.S. government downplayed Saudi Arabia’s participation in the 9/11 attacks.

Paul Sperry, a former Hoover Institution media fellow, reports that leaked information from the redacted section includes:

A flurry of pre-9/11 phone calls between one of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego and the Saudi Embassy, and the transfer of some $130,000 from then-Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar’s family checking account to yet another of the hijackers’ Saudi handlers in San Diego.

Sperry also interviewed multiple agents from the U.S. Joint Terrorism Task Forces.

They said the Bush White House and the FBI repeatedly stonewalled the investigation of the 9/11 attacks.

And former Chairman of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee Bob Graham has even gone on record saying:

“The Saudi government without question was supporting the hijackers who lived in San Diego… The agencies from CIA and FBI have suppressed that information, so American people don’t have the facts.”

That’s an astonishing statement from someone with a birds-eye view of the intelligence.

We are left with one truth: 9/11 is a cover-up.

Welcome to the Machine

Many will find these revelations startling. But I’m not one of them.

It’s no secret that those serving at the highest levels of the U.S. government have always had close ties to the Saudi royal family.

Saudi Arabia is a major player in the global oil market.

And they were an even bigger player back in 2002 before U.S. fracking flooded the world with oil.

Did anyone really believe the Bush administration, with its close ties to Big Oil, would take a hard line against the Saudis?

In fact, following the 9/11 attacks, the U.S. government arranged charter flights for dozens of Saudis to whisk them out of the country. Some of them were relatives of Osama bin Laden.

They received FBI escorts back home… instead of interrogations.

And did you know former President George W. Bush’s nickname for Saudi
Prince Bandar is “Bandar Bush”?

Many believed this was just another crazy conspiracy theory.

But now we know the truth.

The Deep State would never risk its extremely lucrative relationship with the Saudis.

Proof That Presidents Are Just Marionettes

Before you think I’m picking on the Bush Administration, let me say this…

In 2008, then candidate Obama promised that he would declassify the 28 pages when President. Yet six years later the 28 pages remain secret.

Now Obama says that if Congress passes legislation to open the 28 pages to the public and allow 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia, he will veto it.

Why?

He says that if we allow Americans to sue another government, then other citizens in other countries will sue the U.S. government.

That is really sick thinking.

This is not some frivolous lawsuit.

This is about a foreign country facilitating the murder of thousands of Americans on their soil.

That used to be known as war.

The truth is Obama, like all other Presidents, is just another marionette controlled by the Deep State.

Deep Secrets

I’m not offering my thoughts here to jump into a complex debate about

politics, foreign policy or terrorism.

The point is to emphasize that the “reality” put forth by the elites is manipulated.

It’s all rigged.

I’m just calling it like I see it.

You need to know that almost all market or geopolitical information you receive is tainted. The system constructed is rigged in their favor. And the interests being served behind the scenes are far different than yours.

The Deep State will go to great lengths to keep its secrets and protect its interests. And it’s very good at what it does.

Consider this…

In the most high-profile attack on American soil in history… with thousands of Americans killed… the World Trade Center demolished… and the Pentagon in rubble… the Deep State managed to hide the true nature of the attack from the American people for more than 13 years.

That is astounding.

The only reason it’s being talked about today is because a group of 9/11 victims’ families has been vigilant in seeking recourse from the Saudi government.

That has pushed the issue on to the front pages… and onto the radar of all of us that still care.

Keep Riding the Waves

My analysis is something for you to keep in mind as you navigate your way through smart investing.

The elites control the flow of information… and that includes actions that can shape and move entire markets.

Trying to predict what they release and when they release it is pointless.

You’ll never figure that out.

Remember what Reagan said about Gorbachev?

“Trust, but verify.”

Well, the Deep State can’t be trusted, and there is very little we can verify.

The only rational way to deal with this irrational reality is to pay extra close attention to the trends that flow from these chaotic events… and ride those trends to your advantage.

That’s why I see trend following as the only investing sanity available in an insane world.

Stay sane.
