Unbelievable that Aaron was prosecuted as a criminal. A more clear headed, fair, intelligent, common sense person would be hard to find. What is the deal? I’m guessing they wanted to silence him, which eventually is what happened.

In the wake of what happened in Albany, NY today, all I can say is that we cannot afford a loss like that of Aaron Swartz. We need people like him in the fight against totalitarian tyranny. Who will pick up his torch before its fire is drowned in the mud? Will it be you? Will it be me? Or will we hope for someone braver than ourselves?…
